Cursor reorganizes team plans and launches iOS app in beta

The AI coding tool now splits usage into two pools per seat (first-party models vs. third-party API) and launched an iOS app to track agents remotely.

New team plans

Cursor announced a reorganization of its team plans in June 2026: Standard seats now split usage into two pools — one for Cursor's own models (including Composer 2.5) and another for third-party APIs (Claude, GPT, Gemini).

Premium seat

A new Premium seat tier (5x usage, 3x cost, at $120/seat/month) was created specifically for developers running AI agents all day.

iOS app

Cursor also launched a native iOS app in public beta, letting paid subscribers start and track agents from anywhere, control local or cloud sessions from their phone, get live notifications, and review or merge pull requests on the go.
